This Power Line Carrier communication system is approved as a national standard PLC communication method by Echonet Consortium, a standardization organization enhancing network home-appliance development. The key technology is Mesa-SS method that has great advantages in anti-noise and high signal margin characteristics.
Now this technology is under field-testing process at 300 households in Kansai region from 4/01/02.

We exhibit newly developed high attenuation PLC-Blocking Filter technology.
The one of PLC issue as EMI problem is how to prevent the leakage of communication data to the outside of communicating area. For this purpose, filtering performance is necessary to exceed the dynamic range of PLC signals.
We have developed high attention blocking filter based on our new EMI technology, and confirmed the solution to block PLC-signals in the range of 2M - 30MHz.
In the case of locating it at the house connection, it will block the communication between indoor and outdoor.

1) Dispersed tone technology for power line communication modems is introduced. With this technology, cost-effective and reliable power line communication systems can be achieved. Expected applications are home energy management systems, home security systems and so forth.
2) Using IT800 PLCs as Microsoft Simple Control Protocol (SCP)Network devices, we will demonstrate SCP and bridged SCP to UPnP system.
